My parents were visiting the 7MSN last week and got to meet George and Alan up close and personal. George dished out an abundant supply of hugs...
...and Alan got in on the action, too. What a brave little burro he has become.
But Alan still has a shy streak, and this picture of him peeking out from the middle of the frame just cracks me up.
My first thought was, "Wow! That is one HUMONGOUS burro!" Then, I realized your mom was sitting down ...
ReplyDeleteYour blog has made me want a pair of these little guys! Too bad I don't live on a ranch like you. Lucky!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Mom and Dad got to meet the burros, up close and personal. I think that picture of your shy boy peeking out is really adorable.
ReplyDeleteSomeone recently told me I should be charging for Rafer's donkey hugs. All I can say is I would make a million! These donkey boys are such sweethearts. And Alan is getting more and more trusting - what a tribute to your loving care!
ReplyDeleteI want a donkey sooo bad! Are the female donkeys as affectionate and sweet?
ReplyDeleteVictoria, I don't have a clue about female donkeys. George and Alan are my only frame of reference. All I do know is no matter how stressed, how cranky, how bad of a mood I could possibly be in, these little guys snap me out of it instantly.
ReplyDeleteThat picture of your mom and George was so precious. He looks so content!
